Things you might ask...

Why wouldn't I just hire a full-time designer?

A senior designer's annual cost can exceed $100,000 plus super annuation and overheads. You may not have enough work to justify having one - so you might feel stuck paying for time you aren't able to utilize. With our fortnightly and monthly subscription plans, pause and resume anytime, and make the most of us as a resource for when work is available.

How quickly will I receive my designs?

On average, most requests are completed in just one to two days or less. More complex requests can take longer and in order to stay transparent we may split up larger projects into smaller 3 day sprints.

Is there a limit to how many requests I can have?

Once subscribed you can queue up as many designs requests as you'd like, and they will be delivered one by one.

How does the pause feature work?

We get it—sometimes, your design needs fluctuate. With Other Design Studio, flexibility is key. Say you've used our Monthly/30-day cycle for 18 days and need a break. Pause your subscription, and those remaining 12 days stay reserved for whenever you're ready to dive back in—no time wasted.

What programs do you design in?

Most requests are designed using Figma and Adobe applications.

Who are the designers?

Other Design Studio is primarily an agency of one for core services (most of the time) - this is to ensure consistent quality of excellence. This means you'll work directly with me, founder of Other Design Studio. However, if your needs extend beyond our core services, like 3D animation, copywriting, photography and video production — we'll discuss and outsource only if it enhances your project.

How do I request designs?

Other Design Studio offers flexibility in how you request designs using Trello. A common way clients request designs is directly via Trello, sharing Google docs or wireframes, or even recording a brief Loom video (for those who prefer not to write their briefs out). If it can be linked to or shared in Trello, it's fair game.

What if I don't like the design?

We care about your satisfaction and feedback so we'll keep refining the design until you're completely content.

Is there any design work you don't cover?

Other Design Studio offers design primarily for social media marketing and digital marketing projects and does not cover the following design work: 3D modeling, some kinds of animated graphics that require more involved vfx techniques, some kinds of document design (medical forms, etc.), complex packaging, and extensive print design (magazines, books, etc.).

What if I only have a single request?

That's alright. With your subscription you can pause when the task is finished and return when you have additional design needs. There's no need to waste any remaining subscription time.

Are there any refunds if I don't like the service?

Due to the high quality nature of the work, there will be no refunds issued. We strive to do our best with providing top-notch work with unlimited revisions designed to meet your satisfaction.
